It’s a bit strange but my 2018 van came to me from the VW main dealer via the converter (at 3K miles) and because he (the converter) was ‘trade’, the dealer is the only previous owner on the V5. There was an empty paper VW service book in the glove box which I had stamped when I got the 1st service done and for each since. I also get a VW printout.
