Show us your 20’s

hi I’m new here.

I know this has probably been covered a million times before but can’t seem to find much info on it.

I’m waiting for my new van to arrive in 2 weeks kombi t30 and I want to get the wheels and coil overs sorted ready for its arrival.

I’m thinking axe EX15 staggered they are:
9j et 40 front/tyre not sure yet.
10.5j et 42 rear /tyre 275/35/20

ideally I want to lower about 50mm more if possible.

Should I use the same tyre on the front? Thought it might look abit big?

also will these offsets work with out spacers?

thanks

Hi! Just got a T6 and are going to lower it about 100mm. So I want to put some 20's on it. The plan was 10x20 with 255/35 tires, but not sure about what ET to go for. Want a flush/small poke fitment and was wondering what other guys are running? Please post some photos of your fitment and wheel/suspention spec.

Thanks

Only thing to think about with poke, is the state of your paint work from stones flicking up.

Isn’t that actually illegal? Aren’t the wheels supposed to be completely covered by the arches or mudguards?

Yes it is, but I dont really care. The 1 series is on H&R 50mm springs with TÜV. It's easy to swap on the stock wheels and rise the height if I get pulled over and have to show the car to the State Highways Authority, but I dont want to swap in the stock springs just for that. Thats why I want coilovers that go low, but have TÜV.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have 20" 10.5 ET37 275/35 with stretch and they are flush with the body, stance+ down 80mm.

PS don't go admitting you don't abide by the law  there's a few people on this forum who act like forum police and they'll be out for you

Can you post some photos of your car?

Hi Brad, did you get your Axe EX15’s? Did they fit as per your question? I’m looking at the same set up for my T32.

Unfortunately the EX15 is only load rated to 850kg so isn’t suitable for a T32. You need 860kg load rating. Shame, lovely wheel.

Hi Guys,
Just a note to tell you about my experience with the Axe 15 wheels.
I purchased these wheels in silver /polished finish. Within 6 months during Spring /Summer they began to develop water marks below the lacquer.
I contacted the supplier and they agreed to replace providing there was no user damage and I packaged them up ready for collection. Well, I only got 3 replaced as I was told the 4th was not water damaged enough to replace.
I argued that I wanted all 4 replaced as there was a good chance that the other would fail if they were all from the same batch.
Anyway, the new wheels were only on a few months and not during the winter months and they all ended up looking like they had seen 2 or 3 Winters..
I may have been unlucky but I will never buy wheels that are polished in any way ever again.
Scot
