Retro is cool so you're ok.No pics at the mo (will update asap) but I'm still riding my 2004 Specialized Stumpjumper hardtail S-Works
I've had it since new
In its day it was the nuts - anything S-Works to me back then was to be lusted over
Now its VERY retro ... v-brakes !!
Still faultless, however lots of love and care goes in to it
Love it
Even the seatpost is coated !!!!
Just ordered a new machine should be here after the weekend, not quite up there with some of the beauties posted in this thread but will post a pic when i get it together
@MEZ50 ...... just as a cautionary note. I think stems of that length are now in breach of Health & Safety laws on both Forestry Commission land and at Bikeparks.
Haven’t taken any pics went in first ride today and it’s currently hanging in shed with no wheels on while I convert them tubelessAnything?.
My first MTB in the late 90's was a similar Kona with rigid front forks. Not sure how I'd get on with one todayJust keeping the MTB and stem theme going.
Some thing I built a long time ago. Still fun to ride on the downs and a reminder of the bikes we used to ride.
Also great for a ride into Kings Lynn today.
