Shuttle bed (LWB)

I spent quite a while researching a similar option for my LWB shuttle but couldn't find a good solution. My van is currently having caravelle rails and bench fitted now. Not a cheap option but I'll get a reasonable amount back for my existing seats etc to soften the blow and it will be very versatile.
Hi, was this expensive? would be great to see pictures.

Expensive is a relative term.
The seats and rails are about £1500, then you need someone who knows what they're doing to fit it all properly.
I'd say £2-2500 at least, roughly.?

I have a 'stee free' brand mattress that I chuck over this and it's comfy enough

Hey folks in a similar situation here as looking to use ours more for quick camper for weekends/nights away.

We use the bus as everyday car and have 3-4 bikes in the back a lot however I'm looking at bed options that I can take in and out using 3rs row seats (we would remove middle seats for going away).

I've seen the slide pods system but are there others?
We have all the camping gear, just try to make the shuttle more adaptable than carry around a massive tent and will save me from selling and getting a camper

Hi guys. I've a shuttle, want to keep it with 9 seats.. But maybe 3 times a year I could murder a bed in the back. Just thinking of doing somethibg foldable in ply.

Question is, would you do this over the 2 rows of rear seats or add an extra frame and go boot and rear row?

Many thanks for you advice, pros and cons of either.. Like I say, nothing special needed as will be sparsely used. Cheers Michael
