No it's in the boot (stuffed behind the back seat)Someone has pinched your towbar
Ahh, that's the cunning part you see. When It is only one of the kids sailing the back seats get folded down the kombi bed gets extended and the boat just fits in on top of it. Normally we'd have had to have taken out the rear seats, but with the kombi bed, the boat is up higher and goes over the top of them.Someone has pinched your towbar
So how do you secure kit? Can you use the lashing points?Ahh, that's the cunning part you see. Saves dragging the triple stacker boat trailer around for just one boat.
Yep, got some long Thule straps that go over the top of the boat and then down to the lashing points that were put back in on top of the kombi bed feet. Keeps everything good and secure. All the bags, sails, etc etc goes straight in under the bed, bit like a giant parcel shelf really. So how do you secure kit? Can you use the lashing points?
Great tips. Lesson is - replace the lashing points after installing an Exploria bed and use long straps and/or load net to use the bed as a parcel shelf.
