Side on Sunday.

I’m with you there - can’t see the point of washing during the winter other than spraying the worst of the crud off
I totally agree - I wash my van far too often, it's pointless when the roads are covered in mud, I suspect actually I do more harm than good by washing it too often although I pressure wash and snowfoam before doing a contact wash. My trouble is I hate looking out of my window at a dirty van! :eek:
@Gazbadge that looks fantastic!

A neighbour once said to me "I don't know why you're washing that thing, it will only get dirty again." I asked him if he'd wiped his arse that morning.

I get the minimal contact over winter, but washing it is a good way of close inspection and spotting stone chips etc early enough to deal with them. Not like the one I missed on the roof of the Tig that rusted and required the roof painting.

Fair point! Jet washing the crud off leave the van relatively clean to see issues, but it won’t be gleaming!

BTW, did your neighbour wipe? Asking for a friend!!!

Snap,

Snap @Gazbadge autism creeps in when I look at my van, sat on the drive all weekend covered in sand via the rain.
I want to wash Floyd now to try a new ceramic polish but no point.
