SMEV RECALL

Just picked up on this......my new Vangear kitchen pod is arriving tomorrow the 17th. They say they have put a 9722 in.
I'm hoping it's not an affected one.
Bit nervous now.
They should give you an instruction manual and a sticker with the serial number on.
 
Just been and had my unit tested. Good/Bad news it failed.

Now just waiting to hear how long it will take to get a new unit

I’m booked tomorrow for a swap out, hopefully no issues as we are desperate to get use from it!
 
Emailed Dometic directly right at the beginning. They put me in touch with the local agent for it to be tested. I fitted it initially but they want the local Dometic agent to fit and test the replacement.
 
Good to know it’s taken me this long to get someone to test it as my local agent is 2 hours away. Fingers crossed can get it sorted sooner
 
Swapped yesterday, interestingly there is a markable increase in quality in the hob to the previous unit...

Still struggling to they this sorted dometic now saying needs re tested but can’t provide the tool to their approved fitted.

Anyone have a phone number for dometic uk?
