We drove up to Hjelledalen and Sock Monkey found a piste basher to play on.

Then up the Trollstigen.

Now camping at Setnesmoen.

Has been in the 30s evert day so far untill we drove up into the clouds on the Trollstigen and now on the otherside it’s currently cloudy and only 18deg.

Bringing back memories, did your exact journey so far 4 years ago in September. Hot and sunny then too, though not quite as hot as now. I had 3 weeks so made it to Nordkapp, how far are you going? Loved wild swimming in some of the little lakes up there, crystal clear and ice cold, just the thing after a few hours driving

Haven’t got time to go up to Nordkap so Kristensund then Trondheim then over to Sweden and winde our way back down.

Sveg in Sweden this afternoon and Sock Monkey found reindeer.

There are 5 of us travelling together.
1 Land Cruiser, 3 Defenders and us.

Sock Monkey visited Sweden’s largest waterfall at Fulufjällets.(a mere trickle compared to some we saw in Norway)



Driving the gravel roads has given us a nice 2tone effect.
