Morning, i am very new here an apologies for another solar thread ;)

i am just about to purchase a solar panel for my Camper and would like to get peoples thoughts on if this is the right one for me.

my camper has all the basic things like, fridge, led lights, iphone / ipad charging, heater, tv etc.

so my question is, to power all the above on the not so summer days we get towards the end of the year will a
Photonic Universe 200w flexi panel be on top of the job ?

i see some of these panels also come with adhesive backing, any thoughts on this ? is it better than getting the silka adhesive ?

Many thanks for your help in advance.

Welcome to the forum. There’re some very good threads covering most aspects of solar panels. Look for the ones from @Dellmassive. The search function should throw them all up. That’s a good panel but personally I prefer the single cable entry type, makes for a neater install.

ohh, is there a specific single cable entry point one that you can recommend ?

Just saw your other post - how did you get on without drilling your pop-top? Did you run the cables in through the canvas?

Hi, no, I ran the cables to the hinge of the rear door and in through there. See pic below, basically the cables just run under the pop top roof ( big gap at the rear of the pop top underside where the large connectors are ) then into the van where the hinge is to the rear door.
