we have a bluetti fold out solar panel, there is usually a group of around 12 of us go camping together. Everyone has dogs so there is also 7 dogs !!
I only bought the solar at the back end of last years camping season so only used it twice. Unfortunately the dogs seem to like having a pee on it !! It cost me a few hundred pounds so im not happy about this.
Im trying to think of an easy solution to raise it high enough of the ground ( still at an angke, not flat ) so that the dogs cant cock their leg on it !!
Has anyone been in a similar situation ?

I put two fold out panels on the roof . 200w each .

Keeps them off the floor.

But you need to make sure that they stay up there.

So

I used magnet hooks at first.

Now I've moved on to plastic sucker things.

.

Works very well, keeps them off the floor, keeps them out of any shade,

Works perfectly at say camper jam where you are squeezed in so tight there's no room to deploy a panel and even if you could get it on the floor you would end up having it shaded or tripped over or paid on or smashed to bits.

You could design a frame made from something like Key Clamp that quickly bolts together and comes apart. Key Clamp come in several diameters tubes. It can be bought with the more familiar steel tubing but some sizes are available in aluminium or even plastic. Their are a huge range of joints available to facilitate complex designs. Some companies selling Key Clamp have catalogues of useful on line designs that be bought ready made up. Key Clamp is usually seen as railings and similar things but it is far more useful than that. People make furniture, such as beds, tables, office furniture and so on it is very versatile.

As Delmassive has suggested, magnets might work if putting on the vehicle and a fairly large range are available for the imagination to play with. I have considered suction pads like glass carriers use. Though i do not have solar panels my self I do have other things that I may want to place or carry.

Thanks but we have the pop top up and that has a fixed panel already on it that is charging the leisure battery. This flexible panel is for keeping my bluetti AC180 portable power station charged up.
