Solar panels to charge a bluetti power station

Hello everyone. I'm a new member so apologies if this has been discussed already.
I'm in the process of converting my T6 Sportline in to a family camper. My pop top roof and rock and roll bed are booked and ordered which is exciting. I've purchased a bluetti AC 200L for my power. The reason for this is I wanted to keep it simple, and having everything in one box is nice and simple. 2,048Wh (51.2V, 40Ah) sounds like enough power while having the ability to add extra battery banks if needed.
Where my knowledge is lacking is what's best for the solar. It will take 1,200W Max., 12V-145VDC, 15A. I don't think a pop top roof has the ability to hold 1200watts of solar panels, but I do want as much wattage on the roof as possible.
I sort of understand I need to keep at 15amps or below so does that mean anything above a 180w panel is no good and if I used 3x 180w panel I need to wire in series.
Otherwise if someone can recommend the best panel setup for me that would be appreciated greatly.
I'm Neil

Hi Neil.
Welcome..I'm a needie too.

The AC200L is a beast, fyi sorry i don't have the answer..So stop reading if you dont what to hear my rambling..

I had a similar thought, but ended up down sizing to the AC180P due to cost / size and space for panels...was to much for my brain. Unfortunately the down side to the ac180p is it can only input 500w i think. I've decided to add a Bluetti charger 1 DC charger into my package after some good advice from a forum member got me thinking..i think the fast DC changer is a good investment (for me) as I'll need to use the van all year rain or shine and a quick drive for Dc charge, or mix of solar and Dc to charge up maybe my best option. appreciate it's a little bit more involved than the simple setup you was looking for, but good to add in it you can't achieve the 1200w.

Is a A Full charged on Ac200 at 1200w solar is about 1 and half hours?...amazing if that's right..

Good luck.

Hi ya. Thank you for the reply. It definitely is a bit to get your head around trying to find the best setup. I've been up at night reading all about solar .
I will also be buying the DC charger too once the ac200l turns up. I bought mine from bluetti on eBay as a refurbished for £1000. I spoke the the before hand and they explained it's a slightly unit with new batteries installed and comes with a 5 year warranty still like a new one. I thought what I saved on the power station I can spend on the DC charger they sell.
