Campervan Anti-Slip Wheel Grip Mats – Set of 2
These Maypole Campervan Anti-Slip Wheel Grip Mats have a high grip surface on each side for maximum tyre traction, ideal for getting your VW camperwww.funkyleisure.co.uk
They look like basic nylon or polypropylene rope, not very strong. Consider making your own using Dyneema or similar. Go to your local chandlery and buy some off-cuts, or roll ends. Use this guide to splicing

Button knots and Diamond knots are discussed here and here
Also came back in here to ask this! We’ve got a set of the yellow ones under the RIB bed at all times but haven’t had to use them yet (fingers crossed!).General consensus; are these grip mats used just when you get stuck or do you park on them as a precaution?
I’ve got a set and they look very flexible.
We have never used them as never needed to use them, this may be because it’s so crap off road I’ve never got far enough off road to get stuck in wet conditions. Also came back in here to ask this! Don’t think we can be towed because of our body kit if we ever get stuck

Sounds like a good reason to go back to standard to me. Presumably that might also mean that you couldn't be recovered after a breakdown.Don’t think we can be towed because of our body kit if we ever get stuck
I parked on mine last weekend, I'm not sure I'd have moved at all without them.General consensus; are these grip mats used just when you get stuck or do you park on them as a precaution?
