SOS WARNING LIGHT AFTER HEAD UNIT UPGRADE

Hi all,recently changed my head unit and sos warning light on the dash permanently on,I seen a post about this a while back about it being coded out.
I'm here in Ireland (west) was wondering if any one over here had same problem ond got it sorted,also wondering if it would pass DOE/NCT with the Amber light on in the dash.any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated
