Sportline Wheels for the T6 now available

Does £1100 inc Vat sound good for the VW Sportline 5.1 Matt black five spoke alloys with 235/45/18 Falcon tyres fitted at dealership?

Has anyone seen or think they would go with an Indium Grey Kombi? I'm thinking of going black with all details I.e wheels, bar, splitter and spoiler. So do you think it would all go well on the Indium Grey.

Sounds good to me, wheels can be bought for £630 inc VAT and mid range load rated tyres are about £500. I went for 255/45/18 (103) Hankooks for a bit of extra width.

I honestly saw a t6 yesterday in tattenhall, cheshire with exactly what your describing on it.
Including same alloys and side bars, and was in indium grey.
It really did go and looked very good.

With the extra width of tyre does the outside edge of the tyre come level with the wheel arch? Or will I need spacers to get the whole wheels to come level with the arches, if you know what I mean?

Was it slammed or the normal 30mm drop? I'm thinking of going with Custom Vanz 40mm drop with the 18"

@Twoguns I don't think it does, but the 255's will only project an extra 10mm. I have left my van in work tonight, so will check tomorrow evening.

Cheers Pal. I need to let him know by tomorrow if I want them fitted to the van that I will be collecting Friday. Can't wait!!!!!!

Before you commit consider that you could buy the wheels and tyres for approx the same price after and sell the wheels that come on it ??
Means you gotta sort it out but could make a few hundred back on the other set

Could say if it was 30 or 40 mm drop.
But it sat lovely on them and really looked the part @Twoguns
Cheers pal. I think a 40mm drop like @Pauly has will look good with the 18" Sportlines and will still give a reasonable level of comfort, ground clearance and looks.
Would of loved the 20" wheels and 50mm drop like the Custom Vanz GT and GTS models but I'd be afraid to take it off anything but perfect roads.

That's what I can do if I get them fitted before I pick it up as the 16in alloys that come with it will be put in the back. So I can sell them with genuine dealer mileage.

That makes more sense quite often the dealers put them on instead of originals

The originals are on it at the moment. My rush is that if I say yes tomorrow i get the Sportlines at £1100 instead of £1330 inc vat that they where originally quoting and 3yrs warranty too, not that much should go wrong with them.

Last questions guys. What size tyre would you go for? The 235/45/18 as quoted by dealer or 255/45/18 which I've seen some people go for.
Is there any advantage or disadvantage over one another?

The latter will have a larger rolling circumference, lift the van a bit will affect gearing and reduce breaking efficiency.

Are you sure? I thought the only difference is the width of the tyre by 20mm not the diameter..

Sidewall height is tyre width multiplied by the ratio, 255*0.45 or 235*0.45.
