SPOTTED - 'Was it you?' thread

You're supposed to make the VW symbol with your hands, forming the crossover for the V and the W with your thumbs...
And those 4" of air could also be a jacked up van on lift springs so ignore that sh1te!

I got alot of horn action and thumbs up at Blackpool illuminations tonight. I was going north on the promenade. And convoy of transporters were going south.
Was it any members from here??

Just seen this:

which is just plain sticking your nose up at ordinary folk - and there's me thinking that the worst wheel snobs were road cyclists!
I just looked and laughed at the original comment! I laughed even more at your response!!! “Wheel snob”….I’m stealing that one!!!

Sorry that you've taken offence at my post and there was me thinking it might be used as a sticky?
Another thought and why would it be seen as sticking your nose up at ordinary folk when surely anyone driving a T6 van/ camper or otherwise has already spunked out at least the best part of £20,000 just setting out?
The original post was intended with mischief in mind, perhaps not obviously enough I guess and you've chosen your interpretation of that sentiment to suck any joy from what should have been a minor chuckle throw away chuckle... pretty sad really but point taken and easily remedied, bye.

Your intial post was by far the most entertaining on this thread and to be fair pretty much spot on :)

Your comments always make me chuckle, I guess we all see things slightly differently but I saw humour and I'm showing 4" of air over my wheels!

Your tongue-in-cheek quip was quoted out of context which doesn’t help! (Actually, it’s a tad unfair, tbh, as it eroded the twinkle with which it was originally delivered!)

Move along - nothing to see here and even less to apologise for!!! (I’m still stealing “wheel snob” though!!!)

@Stay Frosty. I don't have Claytons or the 4" of air so I'm hardly in a position to take offence and the first part of my response was actually made in jest. That said, I do stand by my comment about wheel snobs.

I hate everyone, except those in a VW van, irrespective of its altitude, so they get a wave. Everyone else gets a single finger wave :D especially those with attitude!

I drive a Transit in the daytime for work
I drive a Vw in the daytime for leisure
Will you only wave to me whilst camping?
