SPOTTED - 'Was it you?' thread

an indium grey T6 towing a......

......helicopter.
That's something you don't see every day. That said, I feel sorry for him if he has to travel in it - horrible bloody things. I'll confess that I've never travelled in a civvy version but I've spent enough time in the back of military ones to last me for the rest of my life.

I'm wondering whether it was up in the area for the power cuts after storm Arwen, checking lines. Little white bubble thing with the blades stowed nicely at the side.
Went on a helicopter once on a visit to a gas rig off the coast at Aberdeen, loved the flight ! But those little landing pads look mighty small as your depending to them !

Isnt that 'Leaky Window Guys' Van , judging by his plate? He must be on holiday. :uh run:
Who’s leaky window guy? He’s probably also cracked block/bent conrod guy too!

Edit: just noticed the ‘initials’ on the plate. I thought there was someone on here that you knew!

Oh sorry, I thought everyone who has a factory kombi knew him (LWG), he is the guy who installs the factory sliding windows to leak without fail...thats his job and he does it well.:somersault:

I don’t think a structural engineer has approved that design for temporary works.
And now they can’t get the van out, maybe it’s in there for winter storage.

You should try fast roping out of them, now that is an experience.

@Texxaco. Been there, done that - I always thought it was a relief to get away from the noise and fillings shaking loose in the back of the aircraft.
