You can’t run a standard tyre on solow and 20’s even at their maximum height. We have tried. Don’t even bother looking if you are T32 and want to run underrated tyres. Great suspension though and very smooth and compliant considering the drop. On 18’s you can run all the way down, and with correct tyres.

Lots of other options to get you where you need to be with that tyre and wheel setup- max low from Projekt sensitive will run you nearly as low - ( see our our thread on here)or even B14 Komforts, can sit pretty low 70mm or more dependant on your vehicle.

If you are local come over and have a go in one of our demo vans and a chat over coffee. We fit pretty much all of the available coilover kits and correctly hunter alignment it afterwards, which is critical with big drops. If not local then alway happy to advise on the phone or message.

my current thoughts are on a T30, Velare 10x20 rear with 275/35 tyres and 8.5 front with 255/40 tyres
my solow thought was to have it set at max height with this tyre combo without top mount mods, adjuster delete etc. but do appreciate i might be pushing it regarding the rubbing issues. do like the top of the tyres filling the arch and just tucked in under the lip of it.
head is telling me the B14 komfort / Koni/h&r option will be better option. rear of van is fitted out camper with pop top.
Vans also daily driver so dont want to cringe every time i come across a pothole

Just check the load rating on the front tyres, you want 102 to be legally load rated.
My choice for your van would be the Koni/H&R kit, wound all the way down with the weight of the camper will give you exactly the stance you’re after. No need for machined top mounts or rear adjuster delete. A great quality ride and also several hundred pounds cheaper than B14 komforts.

When you say that you don't want to be on the tiles do you have a particular stance in mind, or have you got pics of the stance you are trying to achieve? Solows start at around 100mm drop at the highest setting which is pretty low with 20s, but it can be done. As a comparison, here's a pic of my van at about 85mm down with staggered 20s, no rubbing front or back. If you think you want it lower then SoLows could be for you, but if this is low enough it opens up other options too.

Hi, I have lowered my T6 on B14’s, it’s sat as low as these will allow at the moment. I have just purchased some 20” staggered fit wheels and 8.5” front and 10” rear, what size tyres would you recommend please?? Thanks.

Let's discuss via your PM, there are other variables that will affect my recommendation, cheers.

Also thinking of this kind of set up. Ideally I’d like a full set of 9” deep dish and lowering 40mm. Anybody done this or know of 9’s all round.? I’m likin something Bronze like the Velare VLR08 ( which i know aren’t that deep)

This is still in with us so work in progress pics. But gives you an idea. Works really well

They are a stunning, really well made wheel

suspension and wheel change time and looking at solows as an option
is anyone running solows with staggered rims? considering 20 x 10 with 275/35 tyres
fronts shouldnt be an issue as 8x5's
not wanting to be on the tiles as such but lower than the H&R springs currently fitted however dont want too much hassle with rubbing and bottoming out
I’ve ran SoLow’s with loads of wheel sets ups..

I’ll tell you now if you stick 20s on and a load rated tyre you’ll rub like hell. It’s the front that’s the issue. I had a 8 front and a load rated tyre and we had to take the whole arch line out and it still rubbed on full lock. The only way is to drop wheel size or drop tyre profile and stretch.

Wait until the end of this week and I’ll show you guys 9 on the front and a 10.5 on the back with whatever drop you wanna see
