But i'm still stuck with poxy beige grab handles and sun glasses case !!
It’s been a while mate but have a look at this page on Facebook using shoe polish!!@LambethBoy
Hi Ya
Not good ya know !
I wasn't trying too match it up really it was more about trying the product out which is why i practiced on my work Toyota ! lol..
Im not really convinced with the product now, as i was re fitting the Toyota brackets that hold the sun visors i noticed i had also sprayed the under side of the brackets, so i gave it a little scrape with my finger nail... Off came the dye !!!! crap !!!!
I was expecting from the Blurb from the web site that this stuff did just that Dye the original plastic, I din't know how, but that was what I was expecting.
Its much more of a paint than a dye, As such I'm guessing there may be better and cheaper products that will do the same thing ?? Dunno.
Its certainly not good enough to use in the T6
It certainly wont take the use or hammer needed if as I wanted to change the color of the grab handles, It's just not good enough.
The more time I spend in the T6 the more i'm starting to like the light head lining and sun visors and grab handles.
I've almost decided to leave it alone and just have a color change / divide between the cab and the living space.
I do say almost as i may look see if Amarock stuff fits ???
Or i have my black head lining and get the visors leather covered with black stitching which I've seen, paint the brackets as they wont get touched !
But i'm still stuck with poxy beige grab handles and sun glasses case !! Which i will hate on Black head lining !!!
OMG ! I'm getting on my own nerves now

I think the mk4 golf has a black version of the sun visor, did you end up finding out as I can’t see anything on here?Hi, am about to retire my headlining and would like to change the sun visors on the T6 from grey to black..... Are they common across various models as I can not find any online!
Many thanks in advance for any and all help.
Yeh they do look good that’s my plan b..Hey Skippygriff,
Mk4 golf eh? might have a look at those. I didn't have any luck in finding alternatives, in the end I covered the sun visors in leather from JF stitching (I think) from fleabay. They look pretty good if truth be known - I'll attach a pic of the finished cab......

Could be right. must be a way to make it fit . The part numbers being the same though surely it’s doableMy first thought is that the bit you screw into the h/lining and secure with doesn't look right......... cant remember what the OEM T6 bit looks like, but sure its not like that
Yeh the first part of the part number is engine and model, the last part is colour. But the middle part is the sameAre they the same? With a different colour, would have thought there would be a difference in the numbers….. from what I remember the VW part numbers have the colour code in them somewhere. But don’t quote me on that as I am no expert compared to most on here!
I’m still in the planning and research stage will get there eventually. will prob try pick one up from a mk4 golf. I’m guessing it’s not possible because nobody else has mentioned it. will have to have a play, wveb if it means swapping the fixings over from the sunvisors or something. Want to spray as little as possible reallyHey Skippygriff! Did you have any luck with the sunvisors?
Three-quarters of the fun is in the planning!!! Good luck with that - will be really interested in hearing the results! Spraying plastic that is flexible and soft is a nightmare I agree - even with the "specialist" paintI
I think suede on the the pillars and headliner, found all the part numbers for lower dash and door cards, the cubby in headliner will have to sprayed I think. There’s a dark version of map/dome light and all grab handles, sunglasses holder. so it’s just the sunvisors reallyThree-quarters of the fun is in the planning!!! I’ve got the part numbers written down in work. will take a pic of them all and post it up for youI couldn't find the black grab handles anywhere - in truth, those were the bits I really wanted too! I ended up spraying, but with all the use they deteriorate quickly!
