T32 20" Tyres - What Do You Use?

The amaroks are offset 43, is this the same as the sport lines? If so, I recon there won’t be an issue for me to run these 19” amaroks with 245/45 tyres with my wheel spacers and the lowered height. I’m not running super low....

They'll fit fine; my attraction to the 255 is more protection from kerbing, as these wheels do look a bit vunerable.

so, if my info is right.
Current Wheel:
18" sportline is 8J (50 off set) 255 45 18 tyre

Amaroks:
19" 8J (43 Offset) 255 45 19 tyre

End result is the wheel will be 7mm closer to the arch edge (poke) and 7mm further from the hub. So, if i don't have 7mm space on my current spacer setup (25mm rear 15mm front).... then I could take the spaces off, perhaps moving the 15mm to the rear and not running any on the front.

Thoughts folks?

The rolling radius of those tyres will be different so take into account it will affect final gearing and speedo reading.

Need an order of 10000 tyres for yoko to make me a set of 235/30/20 103y

Crowd funding?.

@Insert Coin so I guess you have had these for a while now how are you finding them? I think I may choose these for my next tyre.

They were really good, sadly due to crappy alignment all 4 bit the dust very prematurely. I tried to buy another set but they weren't available at the time, but I would recommend them.

Thanks, shame I guess you didn't really get to work out what mileage you would have got from them. I'm a big advocate of all season tyres (in the UK) and am torn between these and the Vredstein Quatrac Pro (which I have used on a different vehicle previously and was impressed with). What did you replace them with or did you change wheel size?

I've got Goodyear Eagle F1's I think, but to be honest I don't do too many miles, someone like @Tourershine does much higher mileage in all kinds of conditions so will have better feedback.

Eagle F1's should do 10k on my heavy van, more on others with less weight, so I'd say 10-15k out of a set.
They are an amazing tyre, but quite expensive.

I use Nankang. Up to now they have always served me well on a van as they are harder rubber than the top brands, so slightly less sticky, but wear well. Couldn't get the same model this time round though, so time will tell.
I did a set of Toyo's once in 6 months. Just no point in having top quality rubber on a 2t brick.
Equally, the really budget brands become more slippery in the wet. Mid range works for me.

goodyear eagle sport all season £130 @ tyreleader
Yes I saw them which is what prompted the question. It seems a good price, why the thumbs down @t6 soon ? I am struggling to find reviews of the Eagle Sport All Season though, most of the all season tests are using the Vector Sport All Season from Goodyear. I can't even find the Eagle Sport All Season on Goodyear UK's website which makes me wonder if they are discontinued.

My T32 came with Superia Ecoblue SUV tyres 275/40 R 20. Load rating is 950kg (106). I have never heard of this brand but looking online they look quite cheap (c£66 /tyre). The tyres were fitted by a friend (who trades commercial vehicles for a living) and it was fitted to the van when it was his own, with no expectation of selling it at the time. I therefore cannot imagine that he would have fitted poor quality tyres. Any knowledge or experience gratefully received

Eagle F1 265/40/20 only been on a month or so but covered 3k miles, seem fine so far £126 each tyreleader

I cannot comment directly as I have no experience of these tyres. I suspect that they are unlikely to be 'poor' quality but that doesn't mean they are up there with the best either. I'm afraid I just don't skimp on tyres. Even when comparing big brands there can be significant differences in things like braking distance so I imagine those differences will be even greater when you start to compare really cheap tyres. My new to me 18 month old van came with Hifly Vigorous HP801 tyres. They look OK, they drive OK, they have about 6mm left on them, but they are still £80 tyres. As soon as the real winter weather sets in I will change them. I fully expect to have to pay somewhere between £130 and £160 per tyre. Just my view, I want something underneath me I can rely on.

@Tsixty thanks and I agree that tyres is the last place to make false efficiency savings. When it comes to tyres I would always opt for a ‘trusted brand’ and a ‘premium product’ ... and happily pay for the privilege! Having said that, I will point out that I don’t necessarily subscribe to the idea that cheap equals poor quality (I know too much about product pricing strategies for that) so was intrigued to see these on the van of someone who is most definitely not price sensitive In the least and generally buys the very best money can buy (because he can)...I will of course ask him directly, but was just keen to find out if anyone else has knowledge or experience of these tyres.
