18 months is an horrific wait, but I'm pleased to hear you're enjoying your fabulous looking van.Pretty much 18 months from when I ordered my Kombi Feb 21 to when I picked her up last Thursday. It sucks having to wait so long, but after driving it for the last few days, it is well worth the wait.
Thanks @Bav for your insurance explanation, it was your information that got me an Agreed Value for my vehicle and a 10% discount from A-Plan.
Guys, hang in there. It is worth the wait.
Here is my pride and

Mine was AutoEBid, via JCB Ashford. Nov 21 order now in transit.Great news for those that are now getting their Vans it would be interesting to know who’s ordered through auto e bid and now got their van and how long it’s taken ??
Tbf, that's not a bad turnaround for JCB Ashford - though that's not saying much.Mine was AutoEBid, via JCB Ashford. Nov 21 order now in transit.

I knew there'd be others with longer waits than my 15 months, but 19 months and still no build date... . That's the scenario that haunts me.Jan 31st 2021. Still waiting! Just coming up to 19 months. Still no date. Said 5-8 weeks at start of June. Another Summer paaases by…..
Leighton Vans Lvs-1.Lovely van! Which splitter is that?
LWB Highline 4Motion Candy White. Heated Seats, reversing camera, bulkhead delete, rear wash/wipe, towbar prep (no towbar), power latch side door, 80 l fuel tank, all-season tyres.Tbf, that's not a bad turnaround for JCB Ashford - though that's not saying much.
Do you mind sharing your spec? If it's similar to mine, I'll try and use it to argue against their usual "it all depends on your spec" fob-off.
I had a phone call out of the blueCan we make it an unwritten rule that when people get the great news that there van has been built/shipped or is at dealers . They tell us if it was planned or they just receive email randomly informing them . It will give us all some hope .
Thanks for that. I'm minus the 4M, but plus a few other options (LEDs, rear camera, electric tailgate, latching slider, tow bar, upgraded battery/alternator), so can't really use the "almost identical spec" argument.LWB Highline 4Motion Candy White. I had a phone call with the confirmed build date, then I followed up for confirmation a couple of weeks after that. I don’t think the dealer can do much to influence the supply chain.
That’s a great spec. Bound to be someone who’ll be interested and wants to skip the waitI've been given a date of December 12th on an October 21 order. If anyone wants it let me know. 150 highline in ascot. Manual 4 motion. Leds, captains seats, heated. Difflock, hdc, solid tailgate with soft close, side door with soft close, rear heater. Probably load I've missed off

Ooh! Ooh! Mr Peevly! Mr Peevly! I have a build week... of sorts.
My order has achieved the heady heights of status 10, with a provisional build week between #48 (2022) and week #2 (2023).
I realise provisional build dates are nothing to get too excited about and they can/do change, but this is my first indication in over 15 months that my order form hasn't slipped down the back of filing cabinet, never to be seen again.
Dealer reckons my van will arrive some time between Christmas and end of Feb, and suggested I might want to hold-off registering it until March (for a 23 plate). Not sure about that, as that would mean a 21 month wait from order to receipt.
I guess if I leave it unopened until my van's delivered, it might qualify as vintage champagne.Time to crack out the champagne. But then again, maybe not.
