T6.1 OEM Reversing Camera is poor

Hello mate, as I said in my previous thread I’m new to this but I appreciate your reply, I thought from the forum silence that I was loosing it I’m afraid after taking my van back for an ongoing fault after an interim oil service which then threw up a constant “too much oil warning light” and heat shields to the underside falling off regularly I have given up the will to live with battling with them, I spoke to VW Robinsons Norwich about the reversing camera (which as previously mentioned has been FINE for a year) and their answer from head office was that this is how the camera is supposed to be, I’ll be honest mate, I think it falls out of the supporting bracket which must be a design fault and they don’t want to know anything more about it. My advice, keep hassling and let me know if you have any luck
I ended up sticking my camera into place with a bit of Sikaflex...its never moved since. I also built out the angle slightly with the same Sikaflex to show more of the tow ball...the camera works brilliant and the angle is perfect.
