What to you mean by "known software fault".Hi it’s a known software fault. I’ve got this and escalated to vw customer care
Thank you I only have Carista to check just wondered if you could test with a meter ?For example as below - by taking advantage of VCDS diagnostic tool.
[T6_measured] 01-Engine - Oil pressure switches & Oil level sensor
For future reference. Applicable to T6 EU6 engines. Oil pressure switch - F1. Switch pressure 2.3 to 3.0 bar Oil pressure switch for reduced oil pressure - F378 (919-040) Oil pressure regulating valve N428 (906-030) References: Workshop Manual Transporter 2016- Engines: CXFA, CXGA, CXGB...www.t6forum.com
Carista would tell if the sensor itself feels being not in working condition.Thank you I only have Carista to check just wondered if you could test with a meter ?
Nice one you learn something new everyday thank you for you adviceCarista would tell if the sensor itself feels being not in working condition.
I'm afraid a traditional voltage/resistance measure won't give anything useful. The communication from sensor is just a digital data stream.
“Ouch” sounds like deep pockets needed I’ll update on my progressAn update on mine…VW found a sensor fault and a ÉCU fault! So, I’ve a new ÉCU and sensor, and still no resolution. They’ve had it for over two weeks now ( and I really miss my van) and I’m travelling around in a hired Vito.
