Excuse my ignorance, but what are the benefits of no rear wiper?!

Would bug the heck out of me with dribbles down my window...
Absolutely no benefit other than purely for aesthetics. I think the rear looks a lot smarter without the wiper arm.
I hate having a dirty rear screen and then only having the clean area where the wiper has been.
