Oh wow!Had some good news today... After numerous delivery dates, I am HOPEFULLY expecting the Van to turn up in the next 5 - 7 days! Super excited about it!
It's not the BE, but it's a Sportline Kombi, LWB 204 PS in Pure Grey with all the bells and whistles.
Ordered it in April - It was originally quoted for March 22, but fortunately went into build last week of July. I believe it was sat in Germany for quite a period of time before being transferred over to Wales? for the Sportline Kit.
I can already see my wallet quivering with all the accessories I'm dreaming about
headlight. Are you on about windscreen or headlight washers?
Good times to be a VW salesman!Spoke to dealer today and still no build date from a mid April order on a BE kombi. Told me it could be another 6 months!!! They have around 70 sportline vans on order with 55 being BE ! also said they might get 2 per month... also said when if ever i get my van it will be worth a lot more! He said they had just taken an order on a BE kombi for over 70 grand!!! Will get an update next year....
Save the money, get it registered and put a private plate on it. The difference will more than cover it!Yeah keen to see the lwb, that’s what we’ve ordered. With my be panel van due in feb dealer said I can wait to register after 1st of March, but there is a price increase. Is it worth it to get the net reg?
Where are you having the work done to the van? These are all upgrades I’d like, definitely haven’t got the time to do them myself! My vans in tomorrow for coil overs to lowest which will be 70mm
They was adjusted by dealer 30mm before collection
This is how it sits @ collection View attachment 138018
Will do a after pic
In for carpet /suede /insulation lights /speaker upgrade after Xmas .
Sounds good, that’s what I think they are probably missing, I think they are quite good modifications that will add appeal to the vehicle.Hi mate
Went to vw for coil overs adjusted did not go too well as it’s still 25mm left ..don’t ask ..it is going back ...
I am up in North Yorkshire
Skipton car radio which are doing a 3 piece roof led lights control via app from phone , .suede roof ..insulation sound deadening, carpets to panels with carpeted speaker pods & usb points this is after Xmas possibly get headliner & a pillars done same time ...
Thanks .Sounds good, that’s what I think they are probably missing, I think they are quite good modifications that will add appeal to the vehicle.
I wonder how they will cope with a loaded back when the coil overs are dropped to the lowest point
Seen that. I’ve commented too!
Yes he’s good this California Chris, really helps to untangle the VW options. He’s basically the only one doing this
Lol yeh I bet, VW’s front man now!Bought my first van from Chris, he’s very good, moved up the ladder now though.
