Yes, true, along with many other manufacturers, and other components. The European supply chain is heavily disrupted.

It’s mad world. Last week 5 x car trains came in full of just transits of all versions including camper . I take there made in Spain or turkey ?
 
Literally just got off the phone to my dealer (JCB Sittingbourne).
I asked for an update on my Sportline. Factories in Germany are shut. No communication coming from VW. He said I won’t see my van for months.
Can’t even loan me a van. My lease van goes back April 2nd.
I’m in deep poo.

Fxxk that’s no good mate . Can you cancel and get an ex demo or something that’s maybe a couple of year old. I blame putin for this. You would of thought someone would have done the decent thing and shot the cxxt by now. Unfortunately it,ll need to be one of his so called inner circle to do it.

You can makes us an offer on my November 69 plate Edition van 28k on the clock. Think am extremely lucky to actually had mine built the other week but I don’t know if it’s in the uk yet.

I am the same route , Edition to sportline , a few editions for sale now they are 3 , fantastic vans .
 
I saw on Twitter SMG in Tonbridge had in a BE waiting for a lucky punter to collect. Anyone on here??

Ordered my LWB end of 28th June so not as long a wait of as yet.
I received a letter from VW Friday saying sorry for the delays.
Anyone else get one?
 
I haven't received any letters or had any other contact with VW since June last year. So I called into the dealership yesterday only to be told that my LWB Kombi that was ordered in March 2021 was at Emden docks waiting to be loaded.
 
Is that free mot and servicing , or are they trying to get a few more bucks out of you !
 
I know this has more than likely been discussed within the thread somewhere but does anyone know how long it takes from Wales sportline centre to being on my drive? I was told my Sportline is due in the country in May then over to have its sportline bits added!

Mine was 6 weeks from converters to dealer. Thinks that’s about the average time frame.
