T6.1 Tear drop wipe

Hi, does anyone know if you can add tear drop wipe on vcds on a t6.1? And if you can how to do it?

Perhaps one of the following Adaptations in 09-Central Electrics (BCM) - by changing them with VCDS to active (or something...) will do the trick.

I have just tried both of these adaptations, and on my van neither activated the tear drop wipe.

Yes, you can do it with a Carista if you go through the settings. (edit: didn't see the VCDS bit in your question)
Also will need to release the bonnet catch as it won't let you change any settings otherwise.

It’s basically a delayed final sweep / wipe after you screen wash, you get the usual 2/3 wipes and then a couple of seconds later get a final wipe to clear any remaining runs.

I don’t have it activated on mine. I wish that you could actually separate the wash/wiper function, so that they operate independently. There’s nothing worse in November manky weather when the roads are wet & muddy, you wash the windscreen & the wipers run on after the wash & you end up with a smeared windscreen again, especially when it’s freezing weather.

Salty - you need to get them Bosch blades - no smear. At least if it isn't freezing.
I wouldn't leave home without them.

Got em. It’s not the wipers that smear. It’s when you’re in traffic in snotty weather. The wipers overrun the washer, so that you end up with a wipe or two that smears the road spray.

OK. Looking for someone who has a T6.1 and has activated teardrop wipe with Carista, then I can get some adaptation maps to compare as @mmi (and myself) dont think its the adaptations in post #3

Haven't opened the Carista for some time now - I kept playing with it and breaking things. If I can find it and no one else has posted back, will have a look tomorrow, but I think the Carista menu items are in slightly less double-speak.

I have Carista and VCDS so should be able to sort this at some point, haven’t seen my Carista in a long time so will have a dig over the weekend and see if I can find it
