T6.1 yellow grill trim

Hi guys

Bought a new t6.1 van converted by CamperKing last weekend. We have seen the clips that can be added to the grille to add a bit of colour. We have seen pictures of vans with yellow trim on the grill and would like to purchase for our van. But can only seem to find them in orange, red, blue etc (for reference Lower Front Bumper Grille 5pcs Trims - Orange Ed. - VW T6.1 - Vanstyle)

has anyone seen any yellow ones? / has anyone spray painted them?

New here so apologies for the noob qn! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you need to paint them, why not paint the originals that came on your van?

It’s a diy job….just get some wrapping sheets from t’internet and a heat gun. If it goes wrong, peel it off and try again!

Hi, Rob, how did you get on? I looking into this a few weeks ago but couldn’t find yellow. Also it looked like the kits only worked with special grills so you had to buy the grill too. I too was told to look at wrapping but haven’t got very far!

How do you actually fit these! I have them and can’t get the chrome strips off!?

I’ve got same question. Although I’ve now discovered that I can’t change the hideous chrome trim on my startline. Gonna have to rethink Maybe getting them wrapped?

Yes you can. I have a Startline 6.1 and did just that...



It's no different to the trim on Highline or Spurtline, other than there being no lower dog bone grille with trim.

I got it off Ebay.

They all say not suitable for Startline, including the one I bought, but they're actually identical. Mine is the living proof.
