If you did get curious about the markings, this might help decode:
I'm sceptical with aftermarket for that exact reason.....usually junk lolCheers @Pewt , all too often the look outweighs the function with aftermarket products sounds like these are fit for purpose then.
I've said this above and funds permitting would have gone this route but at £2k+ for retrofit it's not cheap.......i'm also not sure the light output would justify 4x the price of these lights. Btw these are not blinding at all as you can see the beam cut off clearly.Oem all the way.
Hella's R&D will out strip any of these aftermarket junk ones all day long.
Plus your not blinding other users
Can vouch that the oem led light output to me is spot on.I've said this above and funds permitting would have gone this route but at £2k+ for retrofit it's not cheap.......i'm also not sure the light output would justify 4x the price of these lights. Thank you for explaining why I'm being dazzled driving my old (fairly low) Fabia, in the Van its less of an issue. This year I'm getting cars coming towards me where I can't decide whether they're on high beam or not, no sure it matters cant see owt anyhow. The ongoing battle with dazzling I have commuting at this time of year is nothing short of dangerous, so much so I'm considering getting a newer carThere really is a lot of non experienced anecdotal advice proffered on the forum regarding after market Transporter headlight combinations blinding people.
In my case I've yet to experience this on the giving or receiving end from a Transporter, I am frequently dazzled by the brake lights of the vehicle in front at traffic lights where the driver is holding the car on the foot brake, thank you electronic hand brakes.
I'm also frequently dazzled by the active matrix type headlights on the various jacked up urban SUVs that populate most city centres these days.
Any height difference or indirect path between oncoming vehicles leaves me in my Astra being dazzled by the jacked up SUV version of my car coming towards me as the so called intelligent matrix struggles to shut down the relevant part of the LED arrays in their headlights when their sensor finally sees my vehicle.
The normal "auto" setting of most or all LEDs in the array being active ie all guns blazing with main and dip beam being on at the same time and the response time of the controlling sensor is the problem for the victim rather than the lesser chance of being dazzled by some random fitting brighter light sources in their passive headlights.
It's not so much the electronic parking brake, it's the auto hold function. Many cars keep the brake lights on even without the drivers foot on the pedal. The only way I can turn off the brake lights when stationary in my BMW is the select Park (which I try to do as often as I can out of courtesy)I am frequently dazzled by the brake lights of the vehicle in front at traffic lights where the driver is holding the car on the foot brake, thank you electronic hand brakes.
And there’s me just thinking I’m getting old n me eyesight’s fked…!There really is a lot of non experienced anecdotal advice proffered on the forum regarding after market Transporter headlight combinations blinding people.

Yes they are E marked.Would love to know if they have the capital E in a circle stamped on them, and any other markings. Next time someone buys, please would they take photos all round before installing?
