There are a fair few of us now so wouldn't it be cool to arrange a meet? Be great to put faces to names and see all the Vans together. What's everyone think? Also would have to think of a central location.

Haha @DaveBos but if we are talking central UK surely it's got to be Manchester? (Nothing to do with me living a stones throw from there) ;)
Oh and just the fact I need my T6 don't think turning up in the mk4 golf will cut it lol.

I would say somewhere where two major north, south, East, West motorways meet like the M4 / M5.... how about Bristol :laugh::)

Bristol good for me.... Or if you want, we could do it somewhere near in the Cotswolds...... How about Cirencester ;)

If we're gonna do has to be able to camp!

Your welcome to come to ours in Essex, used to have Seat meets and camps in the bottom field with a bbq.

This has been suggested a few times now (as has Miles kind offer of a venue  ), i definitely think its something that should be arranged but i wont be able to attend anything anytime soon ie before winter so if its going to happen this year will be down to you guys to sort out or we arrange something for next year so everyone has plenty of warning (and no excuse not to attend)
We are out of bank holidays this year already which is not very handy, i am wondering how far people would be willing to travel ?
Essex is a long way south for our northern friends so do we go for a central event for everybody or a couple events north/south so people dont have to travel so far if they want to attend ?

Yes somewhere central. There is a place called Hollies cafe on the A5 in Staffordshire. They would be more than happy to accommodate us but is that too far north?

Difficult one this.

Everywhere is always too far for some and every weekend is always the wrong one for others.

As many will know the T4 Forum always used Beaulieu but last year due to popular demand they moved it to the Midlands. Then at the last minute had to cancel because of lack of interest. This year it was back at Beaulieu and AFAIK well supported.

Perhaps it needs to be an interesting venue and location rather than anything else and then see how much support it gets. We can be persuaded to do events where there is a side interest and good stuff to do when you get there and/or on the way to somewhere or someone else to visit. Whatever don't expect more than the enthusiastic few - to start with at least.

"Popular demand" = half a dozen people who complained about Southampton being too far away, but had no intention of actually attending anywhere anyway? ;)

I would be up for a meet next year (Spring maybe? Agree with Pauly that probably this year is now done. Site should have a load more members over coming months too) with an overnight camp. Whether this was to tie in with an existing meet/festival or as a self organised event but there is always the risk of last minute pull outs for a self organised event meaning you have only a few turning up. If it was an overnight or week-end, I would be open to going anywhere in the U.K
