It's a while overdue, but I have some more details on the Air Lift Performance Kit. This one's for those who still want it pretty low aired out, but with higher ride heights and higher all up clearance.

I've just finished installing a full Air Lift kit to a T32, so everything supplied by Airlift. The pictures below show the van aired out and it's still pretty low. The amount of wheel/tyre tuck is partly down to the 18" wheels, but it's pretty low. The ride quality at ride height is very good, but higher than it would be with the SoLow kits I usually use. At All up it's only 50mm lower than a standard van, so clearance for getting over almost any obstacle that you're likely to encounter, unless you're going seriously off road.

You can adjust the bag platform at the front for even higher ground clearance, and there's an additional spacer supplied for the rear bag to get more clearance at the back. With it set up like that you can reach standard ride height at max height, but the trade off of course is that it won't air out as low as in this picture.

All in all, it's a great alternative for those who want good aired out lows, but higher ride heights and max ride height than the awesome SoLow kits.

Just need to find some 18" that suit the Indium grey. Quite like Super Metal Rig in the bronze or green. not sure if they would go.

Bronze works well in Indium. I'm a SuperMetal Dealer too, might even be able to get a set in for Wednesday if we move quickly.............

Unless you have access to a proper ramp i wouldn't attempt it......speak to Chris @The Van Cave , he's not too far from you and an authorised Solow dealer/installer

It's not something I would recommend for DIY without a proper ramp. You may have one, which would be great, but doing it on axle stands etc would be very hard work. Happy to discuss an install with you, send us a DM if you would like to know more about what I can offer.

My reputation for quality air suspension installs with good honest advice before the sale and great customer service afterwards is growing. No more lined up for March, I’m busy with interior work, but 3 booked in for April.

I allow 3 days for pressure based, 4 for height based. That gives me time to give it a good clean after the work is done.

Air suspension installation is becoming more and more popular at the Cave as word gets out that we offer great advice, a wide range of options and outstanding, professional installation. If you fancy an air install carried out to the highest standard and want honest, impartial advice then please get in touch.

Two more have been completed since my last update with customers who I think are still smiling now!

We've a T6.1 in this week for ABP air and a full Leighton R styling package, then a T6 in the following week for a full SoLow install.

We've also go a couple lined up for June, including one that should be a UK first if all goes according to plan, so that's pretty exciting!

The T6 below is on ABP bags and struts and the T5.1 is on SoLow Bags and Struts. Both are running Airlift Performance 3P management. We also supplied the Bronze T311R with tyres for the T6 and just the tyres on the T5.1.
