Jamie at Duchy is on holiday now, and as a small business he won't have anyone replying to contact.

Tamar are just Duchys wheels anyway, so you could just go through them.

Oh and you have no chance of getting a set early September from either, but worth the wait.

It was a solid 8 week wait for mine and from what I've heard from Duchy it is more like 12 now as he is, (as Tourershine quite rightly states), a small business and swamped with orders. Because of Covid he has also had supply chain issues as well which I believe are now resolved but it has still put him back.

From conversations with Jamie, the main problem is supply of Amarok steels. They come into the country in limited numbers and you have many businesses up and down the UK that try and secure as many sets of these wheels as possible. It might seem nuts to us that they aren't readily available, but i guess it's great for companies like Jamie's when he can fill a pre-order of guaranteed work and just get them churned out as they become available.
On top of this, he has many other scenes that have wheels banded, plus general wheel refurbs of which he's done loads for me and he's a small team. All these factors lead to a busy chap who's better at doing the work, than constantly answering messages through FB, Instagram, WhatsApp etc etc.

My suggestion to anyone not getting any replies off Duchy, is to place your order through Tamar. They are the same wheels, and yes you will still have to wait, but he is the best in the country with what he does, and its well worth waiting.

I contacted him before and sent a message the other day. Pretty much as above, supply of wheels is the bottleneck as is volume of work. Just have to be patient or get a 2nd hand set.

I waited over 16 weeks for mine.. only due to supply chain. He even sent me a screen shot of the message from Land Rover. well worth the wait.

thanks all for the replies, they make sense ;)

stupid covid sh*t has allready set me back months on my build/conversion, first the van itself was delayed, than the kw suspension 8 weeks later, and now the wheels ....

but i know in the end, all will come toghether nicely and worth the wait

I'm back...

Another set of Duchy Banded Amaroks in Chrome 8.5" and 9" running some new Michelin Cross Climate plus in 235/45/18, which are new to me as i've never run Michelins on my T6, but run them on my Motorhome with huge success in all weathers including snow at the start of this year in Germany. First impressions are very good. They seem lovely and quiet, and far more comfortable than my 20s, plus the bonus that they actually go round bends in the wet, unlike the tyres on my alloys. They also have an awesome directional tread pattern. I went 235 and not the standard 255s everyone put on Banded Amaroks, thinking they will give a nice stretch look, but they don't, they actually look like they were meant for the wheel, which is a little boring for me, but they are far more practical than my alloys, and they will be a great daily wheel and tyre combo.

Be interested to know if you get any rubbing with those wheels and tyre size.

Very smart @Tourershine .... not quite as wide as your usual, they tuck in nicely on the back don’t they! How do the Michelin compared to the eurowinters and what load rating do they come in?

I was going for a 9" front and 9.5" rear but changed my mind because i'm getting sick and tired of rain being sprayed up the side of the van, making it filthy constantly. The 8.5 front and 9" rears mean they tuck just under the arches and keeps the van a bit cleaner. They are actually exactly the same sizes as yours, only slimmer tyres, and we all know that 235s are not going to be rated for a T32, but I just didn't want 255s again.
The Falkens on yours were just as nice, but a little bit noisier than these Michelins, but I think that's a Falken characteristic, because my last set of FK510's were a bit noisy.

All sounds good! How comes they rub? Mine don’t, is it because you are lower?
