I haven’t had any work on the front only on the rear.. well I think it has.. just need someone to show me a picture of their rear arch liner. The front has had arch liner work but that’s it.
Mines had front and rear cut, ill send you a pic next time the wheels are off

Just a nightmare over the speed bumps Paul lol

Agreed, especially round the capital of speed hump central, Whiteley. But who doesn't love the sound of plastic grinding against tarmac.

:D Not much In it with those mods on top of the SoLow’s. Bet they are only half way down.

A little more than half, but I still have plenty more if I want it.

I saw new scrape marks the next day and wondered if they were yours lol, you should have said you were so low mate I would have met you down the road

When I was up on the ramp at HQ on Friday, I had a good look where I was catching and it's not actually too bad, most of the scaring was from the 18s and it's all just the plastic covers. Put it this way, I cannot go over a can of pop laid on the floor without touching it.

Saying that and as crazy as it sounds to people reading these comments, if you are careful and watch how you drive, you can get away with a lot being that low, but I definitely cannot have splitters or bars anymore.

Road kill in the road is another one.
On 18s I drive I little lower than that. It’s not big and it’s not clever  I get drive shaft judder turning right and I go through a splitter a week:think smile bounce:

I’ve had to fully wind my SoLows up to the max, the barracks I’m on is full of speed bumps and I was tired of the mudflaps rubbing, I’ve also ripped off two splitters from my sportline bumper. That said I love the setup with the banded 18”s, the plan is to get RR’s once the wife gives me the go ahead!

I carry a bit of weight with the Caravelle flooring and seats plus the three kids.

As in previous posts it all depends on your offset, if your new wheels are made right by the right person you
shouldn't have any problems tbh mate.
There are some top guys on this forum who know there stuff, if you need to know anything else
about Banded wheels just ask away , I,m sure we all will be happy to help

I don’t suppose you have a picture of your van at a better angle showing where the rim sits to the body.
Worried about getting them in 9.5/10 will be to sticky out now

I'd be worried too at 9.5" fronts on banded steels. The max I'd go is 8.5 on Amaroks and 9s on RRs 9s on GPs
I was running amaroks 9 front and what was a 9.25 rear and that is about as much as I could squeeze I reckon.
As you know I’ve tried a 10 on the back in a Amarok and it didn’t go. Well it did but looked stupid.. even worse with a 55 profile that’s being thrown about in here:p GPs may be different.. but I wouldn’t have thought so.

actually.. here is a picture of a 10

Thats brilliant. Best look I've seen on your van yet Jay. You sure you took the other wheel off first? and who the hell makes 9.25" wheelso_O

Yes 6mm less when comparing the same size.
Looking at jayjmac’s 10’s have defiantly helped. I’m not brave enough to run 10 jbw’s even if they are 6mm less haha
