Team Reflex Silver

I’ve put the standard Claytons back on and am selling the Swamper wheels/tyres (already sold the nudge bar) and it will be ‘standard’ for a few weeks while I research coilovers (had cobra -55mm springs on before and they were harsh and choppy) so want the best ride quality I can get (afford) and decide what wheels to get next. Might even go for a sportline front end this time too.
Fair play, most people would have spent their money and then lived with it.
I’m down in Southend if you want to try out the KW coilover setup (I was on Stance+ Ultra’s before and can steer you away from that).

Im on the H&R/KONI Coilovers fitted by @CRS Performance and they are a massive improvement over what I had before (40mm H&R springs on standard shocks). Give Steve a call at CRS to discuss your options.... he won’t try and hard sell you anything

I’ve de-swamperised my van.

Let me explain - it was lowered and had big alloys, then I decided I wanted to go down the Swamper route, so had standard suspension refitted, sold alloys and bought some steel wheels and BFG tyres, fitted a nudge bar, light bar and bonnet defelector.

But I just didn’t enjoy the look - yes it drove better, but I never looked back at it after parking up like I did when it was lowered with a nice set of alloy wheels. Oh how I wish I hadn’t sold the Amarok Canteras

Not sure if it’s the colour? Silver should be clean, shiny, with nice clean and shiny wheels - not all boggin with dirt.

Yes - I am a lunatic
I’m pretty sure @Tourershine has some satin black Canteras for sale at the minute?

Swamper wheels are (hopefully) being collected today, so I’m back on standard springs with diddy little Claytons

My eBay watch list is full of various alloy wheels and coilover kits.

Still got another set of Amarok Canteras at the top of my wheel list, but will go for a 15mm spacer on the rear this time as the rear wheel sits in a little bit.

Top of my list for coilovers is the ST-X set based purely on reading reviews/posts on here. Would take up @Ads_Essex on his kind offer as I’m local to him but pesky lockdown stopping that right now.

I‘m convinced the knackered Cobra -55mm springs were the primary cause of the harsh ride.

Actually gone full circle with the exterior of the van now as it looks virtually like it did when I got it two years ago (e.g. standard) so will also need to think about front splitter or sport line bumper and may even have another go at trying to keep the rear spoiler stuck to the barn doors

Chasing down a set of wheels is proving a bit boring. I will resist over-paying for some Canteras (but not sure how long for ) and have a few other options.

Have settled on an ST-X coilover kit so just need to get that ordered.

Van hasn't moved yet this week due to lockdown and working from home so have some time.......

Thanks!
Of course, the wheels are Supermetal Fins 20” in space dust silver and the tyres are Kuhmo Ectsa P71 275/35/20.

Groovy - they do look very nice
Thanks!
I got them from Bognor Motors. Oli offered them as an idea. I think that black wheels on a silver/white T6, although looks cool, is done quite often and fancied something different. Plus the pictures on Supermetal website make them look very cool.

Agreed - am looking for a set of silver ones as we speak
