There called low pro, came already fitted when i got the van. Apparently they are 80mm front and 75mm rear. Although when i meaure centre of wheel to top of arch all 4 have the same size gap, it sits quite nose heavy. So not sure how accurate the quoted ride heights areWhat suspension are you running @CarpyT6 ?
I’m no suspension expert, but going from what Steve @CRS Performance says, the measurements you are describing should be the same.... this gives the van a natural rake to the front. The front should be 40mm lower than the rear. When you get the chance, measure from the floor to the seam of the sill where your jacking points are front and rear? There called low pro, came already fitted when i got the van. In that case maybe the measurements quoted from the manufacturer are correct? Weather permitting i will be giving the van a wash tomorrow so will take the measurements then. If i hadn't just had 2 new struts replaced under warranty in the last month i would be getting in touch with steve for some new suspension, seems a waste to get rid so soon as the ride really isn't that bad for cheapo coilovers. No worries mate I’d totally recommend CRS to anyone.... and Cannock isn’t far from us!In that case maybe the measurements quoted from the manufacturer are correct? Sorry, I wasn't clear at all, but you have pointed me in the right direction. Cheers. What badges do you mean @Dan Morritz ? If you mean the aftermarket VW badges, I got mine from Vanstyle, but Transporter HQ do them too and I’m sure there must be other retailers.
Didn't wash the van today, was far too cold for my liking lol. However i did manage to measure from floor to sil as you suggested and the front is exactly 40mm lower. Just like you said. If you care about ride quality its more than enough , also caution with tyre size it is horrible when tyres touch everywhere ??I'm thinking similar, im down about 75mm and dont think it's enough
What front splitters are Team Silver favouring for owners without the sportline bumper? Does anyone have a Vanstyle splitter fitted - I'd love to go back and take a look in this thread if you can identify yourself? I really like the look of the Maxton splitters, but wonder if they are worth more than what Vanstyle are offering at £87?
No issues with tyre rub, ride quality could be better but it's more comfortable than my old 3 series bmw, and I'm only on cheap coils atm.If you care about ride quality its more than enough , also caution with tyre size it is horrible when tyres touch everywhere ??
Wicked DanFirst mod completed on the new bus. KW coilovers fitted by @CRS Performance. Claytons off, replaced by JBW Rogue 18’s (super local to me) and the ride quality is sublime.
It’s sitting pretty now...
