My newly converted LWB T6. Need advice on windscreen cover as van has fraught excluders. Will one fit externally. Cheers.

Presume you meant draught excluders - aka wind deflectors? ("Fraught excluders" sound like a contraption for keep kids out of the van ) If so, the external screen covers I've used would have comfortably fitted over deflectors.

Rainbow Screens for the front, not cheap, but very good.
Use with wind deflectors and open your front windows a couple of centimetres for ventilation and you will get very little, if any, condensation in the cab area.

Has anyone on the forum bought or can review the Chilli Jam Van Thermal blackout windscreen cover ? They appear to look less bulky than the Rainbow and Polar covers, but still offer thermal protection from the heat in summer and cold in winter ! My main use is to keep my Kombi van cool when returning to it after a hot day.
Appreciate any thoughts / comments. Thanks Iain

Polar for me, in the baking heat a couple of years ago in France they workEd brilliantly

Polar work for me. The only issue with all the wrap around designs is that you have to open a front door a fraction and then take the cover off that door to open it further. If you just open the door then you will stretch or even tear the cover, as the hinge action of the door increases the length around the front windscreen. Some other designs might use an elasticated fixing around the top of the door - I don't know.

Thank you for all the replies and information. much appreciated.
Looks like no-one so far has purchased the Chilli Jam windscreen cover as yet! Will look again at the suggestions above. Thank guys :)

Been using my £4.99 RAC one from B&M very good suction pads and keeping can nice and cool on beach!

Fuel lagoon works well for me. You can get a protective carry bag for it as well.

I've got a Fuel Lagoon one too. Fit is terrible (2016 T6 and the velcro barely touches under the wing mirrors) but gets the job done and can't really complain at that price.

I’ve had one for about 6 months, very well made, but really only used during winter so far, I’m sure it will help reflect the heat during summerC0121246-EE66-426C-B415-EB7086B714FC.jpeg

Anyone have any experience of the different deniers of external blackout covers?
ie - the fuel lagoon ones come in both 600 and 1200 deniers
