I’ve had one for about 6 months, very well made, but really only used during winter so far, I’m sure it will help reflect the heat during summerView attachment 201340
Sorry, wait, what?
Why do you think a BLACK cover is going to *reflect* the heat?

(I mean it will stop the sun directly heating the interior but it will still absorb a lot of heat - it’s BLACK!
And sure better heat there outside than inside, and it will lose via radiation again and convection if there is any wind but…)

@Bigsidavies . Same question to you as posed to Trevor above. Cheers.
Yeah 3 years in and the only issues are a little bit of the Velcro is coming unstitched and I had to spray it with some fabric waterproofer as it was becoming a bit like a sponge. Water shakes off again now.

Well , maybe ‘reflect’ was the wrong word, but I think most people can see that covering the front windscreen would help reduce the van becoming a greenhouse, most of these covers, windscreen or pop top, have a thermal lining which is the main insulator, hot or cold, regardless of the exterior colour of the cover

@Bigsidavies @TrevorK. Cheers guys - just pressed the button and should get it for the weekend.
The Just Kampers External Thermoscreen arrived about 2 hours ago which is alright since I only ordered it at about 1755 hrs yesterday. Just tried it on and first impressions are pretty good - a good fit and seems sturdy enough. I have to say that I'm still a bit sceptical about the thing getting soaked through before being put away but that's always been my reservation about any external screens and only time will tell. Thanks again to @TrevorK and @Bigsidavies for their comments.
For £55 delivered, I suspect that I'll be happy if it lasts as long as the Maypole branded internal sucker things that I've been using until now and which were £30 nearly 4 years ago. That said, they've started to tear easily and the inner facing material is now more gaffer tape than the original grey.

I'm afraid my OCD would be crying out to give that cover a good ironing!:grin bounce:

If it’s windy then I put the wipers over the cover. It does absorb a little water after a while when the waterproofing wears off, but I just squeeze that bottom edge and put it away. I’ve been doing that for over 3 years and it’s still good. I normally give it a shake or wipe it with a towel and put it in its bag.
When I get back from my travels I throw it over the banister on the landing. It dries really quickly.
Never had any condensation on the inside of the screen when I’ve used it, even in Scotland in sub zero temps.

Do you only do even numbers on the tv volume?
Or anything for that matter.
Yup and I also have to ensure that the light switches in a bank all face the same way.

Can anyone point me in the direction - where can I buy thermal external blinds for T6 camper. They apparently wrap round the front and tuck into the doors but cant find where I can get them from?

Mine are from Just Kampers. Had them about 3 years, still going strong.
Other people use fuel lagoon, rainbow screens etc.
There are plenty out there.

Fuel Lagoon, family firm and hand made in Leicester. I went for the premium slightly thicker material and internal thermals for side and rear

Pleased with quality, fit and price

I've found Chilli Jam ones which look good too. £200ish - is that about right?
