Tinkering with the Thermo Top Evo ECU & Combustion Fan

New Thermo Top Evo ECU & Combustion Fan - generic non VW software. I think that they are Generation 4 Evo ecus.
There are 2 with the part number of 9042048a
and 5 with the part number of 9037921a
Supposedly compatible with 9042118A.

Anyone interested in playing with one - swapping for your dead ecu? or? Removing the tie to the vans software? or?

I have 6 of these and I am wondering if anyone is brave enough to experiment with the transplant. As I only deal with the air heaters I don't have an oem heater to play with. Ideally you will have delved into these heaters before and have an idea as to what you are trying to achieve. If no-one wants to have a go I will have to get hold of a heater myself and play.
Your heater must have the exhaust gas temperature sensor as in 1st pic;

The software is not VW, so if you operate yours via the vans controls these will not work. If you operate yours with a Multicontrol or Telestart they will work - they still have the manufacturers 2 hour operating limit unlike the latest RV Evo ecus.
