I’ve got a T6.1 108bhp camper towing a Bailey Phoenix 650 (upgraded plate to 1500kg) I find it tows fine on the flat at 60/65 but any hill and it’s down to 50/55 in 4th. I dread to think what it would be like in the alps . I’m thinking about adding a tuning box just for when I tow the caravan, as the van is only a year old and I don’t want to void my warranty. I’m really not a fan of them but It seems my only option until the van is 3 years old or just drive really slowly up hills. Once it’s out of warranty it’ll definitely get a Pendle remap.
