I have a 200 cell sports cat on my custom downpipe and I ended up having to put another silencer on it as it was too loud for me.According to DHL, my TTE450 upgrade is due to be delivered tomorrow. The TTE team seems really capable and helpful. I've been speaking with Simon (based in the UK) as and when needed.
The harder part seems to be finding a one-stop shop to do the installation and tuning. MRC Tuning is not interested in doing this anymore. Too many boost hose failures according to them when I asked. VASworks (where I normally get all engine work done) can do the spanner work but doesn't have the facility to do the custom tuning and dyno work. I've been told I can drive it untuned to get it somewhere where they can create a custom map and dyno it, so that might be an option. Would have preferred to get it all done in one go though.
Any hints/tips or experiences that TTE450 owners can share would be appreciated.
Mine won't have an EGT bung welded on. Have never heard of that before and it would have been too late to ask more questions about it.
I'm considering a sports cat to go with the Milltek cat-back I already have, but would really like to keep the noise somewhat manageable.
