Turning over not starting

Just back from holiday and the van won't start. It was getting a bit unreliable with starting before I went away, but would usually be ok on second attempt. Only first start of the day was usually problematic.

Now it's turning over but not firing. It's got a good third of a tank of fuel .

I'm not great with this stuff. Anything easy to check or try for a novice?

so its got fuel, and the battery is OK? - cranking fast enough?

how long has it been sitting for?

Maybe it was just battery after all. It sounded like it was turning over fast enough so I didn't think it was that.

However i ran it flat trying to start it so had it on charge this afternoon. It just started first time trying to get you a video.

My battery does seem to be struggling. I did have it tested a while back and they said it was ok. I do struggle if it's been sat for a few days.

I appreciate the willingness to help anyway. Don't know much about lawn mowers do you? That's my next job!

might be time to have that battery re-tested.

it should last at least a week,

even 2 or 3weeks if its a basic van without added extra tech.
