Under the Passenger or drivers seat for leisure battery install?

Hi All, Doing a bit of reading before I embark on a leisure battery install on my T6 Kombi. I have twin captains seats, question is which seat is the best one for the install, I've seen alot of people opt for the drivers seat, is there a good reason why people opt for this over the passenger seat?

I also suspect that I have a 10mm red feed cable from the starter battery already under the passenger seat so it may be a no brainer to fit here.

Whats peoples preferences for location and why?

thanks

For me all under the driver's seat as it is static, my twin passenger swivels.
I then have power on the rear of the driver's seat with ease.

I have the diesel heater ducting coming up under the drivers seat so i put my battery under the single passenger swivel, no issues at all.

Thanks for the reply’s, edging towards the passenger side due to ease of access for cable routing.

This is under my drivers seat, battery, amp, fuse board, Webasto ducting. The factory location was under my passenger seat but I had it swapped when I had a big audio install fitted.

Battery size will also be a factor in your decision. Take time planning where chargers, fusebox, ducting, battery will fit. I had no room under drivers seat due to ducting getting in the way. My 100ah lithium had to be placed on its side which took up loads of room.
