Hi all,
My current T6.1 panel van is in getting a conversion to camper done and is almost complete.
I intend to go through the motions of filling in the campervan conversion checklist set out by the DVLA and accompanying it with a letter to inform them of all the changes made (camper conversion, pop top, 5 belted seats rather than the original 3). I know it will get rejected as a camper as it doesn't meet the full criteria they set out.
So my question is, if it's rejected as a camper will they automatically re-catergorise the van accordingly, most likely a "van with windows" instead of a panel van or will they simply just reject it and I'd need to apply again for re-catergorisation by another means?
All the information I can find seems to just mention the checklist and details the various points on there but I can't find anything clear cut for what happens after rejection etc.
Thanks in advance.
