All this retro Casio talk made me dig out mine and compare it to current digital watch. It looks absolutely tiny
How do you find the fenix 5? I’ve been mulling over one for a bit now.
Love it, it's the only watch I use now. Great for tracking MTB adventures and really long battery life
Cool can I ask how long you’ve had it, it’s the not being able to replace the batteries in them that’s putting me off.
Here's a Casio pic then. I 'mothballed' the alti-thermo watch as it was selling for £200 online last year!

I’ve had my Fenix 2 for about 5 years. I guess the battery life must have degraded a bit but I don’t really notice it as it is still great. It’s very tough, has survived a lot of bike crashes and still looks good, partly down to using a screen protector

They were always a bit tricky to get hold of. I called a Seiko dealer in the UK and they told me it was never a UK watch, but they could get one from Japan. It’s one of those ones I got as I like it, but they all get worn! Any retention of value is a bonus!

Ha, agreed but I’m not wearing my decent watch for stuff like mountain biking and DIY as it would get scratched to hell. Also it’s not very good at capturing ride information
