Today I took our van in to Dav-Tec near Chesterfield for servicing. I live South of Nottingham and the drive up to Dav-Tec is about 1hr 30mins. This is the first time I have taken the van to Chris for servicing but not the first time I have had other work done on the van by Chris. I have come to trust Chris and have confidence in his standards and professionalism. I enjoy the comforts of his well presented clean, heated customer rest area, with free coffee TV and WiFi. Now I could have gone 15 mins up the road from where I live and got the service done cheaper - thats fine if you are willing to trust your van to monkeys(based on the firm pays peanuts).
Chris used all VW parts and spec oil, he even replaced the sump bung for a new one with the new crush washer. I'd had an on going fault on my after market compact air horn unit which Chris picked up on and diagnosed an intermittent fault with the horn relay. He sorted it for me with a replacement relay.
I won't go anywhere else.
