I don't think that this is the CFCA engine ? My oil filter is part of the ERG front right side of the engine, I don't recognise that top diagram on my van unless its behind the ERG and I've missed it ?

Well, the illustrations are from Workshop manual which covers also CFCA. Anyways, the location should be at the border of engine and gearbox. Quite possibly below/behind the EGR cooler.

Thanks so much for that, you just cant see it built up with the Starter motor on, laying odds I've clobbered it fitting the ERG

Ok Please excuse my red face, I'd trapped the engine speed sensor wire behind the EGR value/cooler. My feeble excuse is that when laying on my back head to the left side of the van, I just didn't see it. Cannot believe the cooler didn't show any signs of leaking.
Anyway many many thanks to mmi and n10n for putting up with me and there great advice and help thought this ordeal, thank you so much.
