I’m not an XS user (yet!), but had this come up on Facebook regarding an important update for those running firmware v1.07 on their Orion XS. Poster is Elliott from Roamer so likely good gen.

Thanks guys, I'm looking at my 'look what I got for Christmas' XS50 and Cerbo package, just waiting for Roamer to deliver my new S4 230Ah battery Friday week. Might have to book a couple of days holiday to pop it all in. Very excited... WiFi now installed in the van, thanks @TallPaul_S for more wallet drain, you should include a wealth warning on your posts!

Mine are both on V1.06 via official channels.

V1.07 must be a beta version.

1.07 is/was only available on VRM or via the next app update.

So it's likely the only people with this version are ones with VRM and who update via this method.

Where's it all going, under seat or in a more sensible location?

The battery and Cerbo gear is in under and around the rear wardrobe, the XS50 is teaming up with my sub under the passenger swivel, all suitable wiring apart from the cerbo gx wiring is already in, shouldn't be too much of a task, I hope!

Nice, much easier than trying to stuff everything in a seat base!!

Have you got all your VE Direct and CAN cables to connect your orion xs, mppt and battery to the cerbo? And ethernet to your router?

Roamer CAN cable bought with battery, a long and a short VE direct 'in the pile', the only thing missing which I'm sure I have a few in stock in my shed, is the ethernet cable. Too cold to go down there until next week! 2 new crimping devices, posh wire stripper, more ferrules etc etc, I think I'm ready!

Adhesive lined heat shrink? Sorry, I'll stop spending your money now! :D
