Hi All

It’s probably been covered before but can someone help explain what the model variants are for the T6 please?

ie what is the difference between the SGA, SGH, SHA, SHH?

Thanks

SGA - T6 Panel van SWB (Short Wheel Base)
SGH - T6 Panel van LWB (Long Wheel Base)

SHA - T6.1 Panel van SWB
SHH - T6.1 Panel van LWB

Respectively passenger carriers have their own designations... T6: SGB, SGJ, SGM, SGN and T6.1: SHB, SHJ, SHM, SHN

T6.1 update

SHA1 Panel van SWB
SHH1 Panel van LWB
SHB1 Kombi SWB
SHJ1 Kombi LWB
SHBS Caravelle Trendline SWB
SHJS Caravelle Trendline LWB
SHBT Caravelle Comfortline SWB
SHJT Caravelle Comfortline LWB
SHMG Multivan Comfortline SWB
SHNG Multivan Comfortline LWB
SHMH Multivan Highline SWB
SJE1 Platform SWB
SJL1 Platform LWB
SJD1 Doppel LWB

Note: the above doesn't specify vehicles gross weight (T28/T30/T30.8/T32). It's specced by a dedicated option code, e.g. for T32 PG1 or PG2 (found on build sheet). The latter possibly goes along with 17-inch chassis (incl. e.g. bigger brakes) option 2E4.

T6.1 Engine (diesel) and transmission combos as suffixes to above

E2 81 kW man 5
F1 110 kW man 6
F5 110 kW man 6 4Motion
F7 110 kW DSG
F9 110 kW DSG 4 Motion
M7 146 kW DSG
M9 146 kW DSG 4Motion
H7 150 kW DSG
H9 150 kW DSG 4Motion

E.g. SHH1M9 = Panel van LWB 146 kW engine DSG 4Motion

The information extracted from Finnish Volkswagen website (15.1.2021).
Added 150 kW engine+DSG combos H7, H9 (21.3.2021).
