Weather Is Bad What Everybody Doing Today

Spent 5 hours with wifey clearing the garage loft. Done pretty well, got bonfire going as well, so leaves & pine needles filling the autumn air. It stopped raining around midday here, so hasnt been too bad. Too windy for a bike ride.

Got up late :)

Did admin (I’m self employed so it’s never ending):(
Knock on door - neighbour opposite fesses up to reversing into my sons car , despite her car having sensors:(
Watched the F1:)
Wife came home from work;)
Went for walk with misses

Nice day!

Mr Donkey did some riding today. Distinguished Gentlemans Ride - Fife 2019, in aid of the Movember Foundation. Mrs Donkey came too, bringing the Panadonkia because it has a choice of not one, but two kettles. Twas cold but thankfully rainless. Big thank you to RNLI at Anstruther for the hospitality.

Visiting the parents. My mum is officially the worst cook in the world, and to cap it all has now gone vegetarian. Pear and mushroom crumble anyone...? No thought not. Pray for me.
This was livened up slightly because, as well as reeling off a list of people I don't know who have died or are seriously ill, my Mum said the hospital have suggested she gets a "peedo meter" after her hip op to help her convalescence. She also complained the coffee grinder had broken and was just sitting down to google "grinder" on her iPad before I intervened.

My Dad settled for repeating his theory that Boris rigged the referendum so he would end up as PM, and also told me that there were only 3 or 4 videos on Youtube that were any good and surely everyone will have watched them by now so why keep it going.

They then both fell asleep. Drive me nuts but I'll never get another set so I'll cling on to them while I can.

Sat on a RIB on Draycote Reservoir in 25 knots of wind, whilst it tonked it down with rain, watching the kids sail.

Finished clearing up the tree that fell across drive earlier in the week. Built my 3rd log store, put a roof on the chicken run, cleaned trailer, collected/picked damsons for damson gin, and general tidy up of the Webb estate. 5 jobs ticked off the to do list however added far more

Impressive amount of work  Also thanks for reminding me it's damson time, there's a tree in a secret location a few fields away from that I gather from every year, best get down there soon.

Edit: Just clicked on your location to check it's not yours

Marshaled on the bike leg of the Ludlow Triathlon, watched the last hour of the Worlds Road Race, then watched the BTCC that I'd recorded.

Spent the weekend at Stratford-upon-Avon and went to the international camper show which includes the overland show. Some very nice big overland vehicles, one was 4 million quid!
