Webasto Aux Heater Unlock

Thanks for the update, I’ve read a lot and watched videos (even the Russian ones) Now we’ve had some cold weather I have been able check and my heater and is working as it should my original idea to get a telestart fitted is no longer the plan Frightened to let anyone near the Webasto in case they stop it working. What you have is what I want lol. The cost for a hot air heater. Been looking at Planar, with quiet pump and link to phone is @ £420 from Heaters4u. I watched a German bloke use one and cleverly cut his B post trim so needed just the vent covers and vent parts inside the b pillar, he used the non standard intake on his step and not too bad. So ‘inside van with door shut looks ace’ I’m a bit frightened to cut anything out in my van, it’s got plush carpets front and rear and lot of wires already under the seats ( guess occupant sensors, heated seats and airbags but who knows these are a complicated car). I think if my interior was more utilitarian I would be happy to rip things up. Did you use a T piece from the Webasto fuel feed for you air heater? If so where did you t it in. sorry for long message.
Cheers
Phil

Sounds like you have got a high spec. I’ve got shuttles so use to the trim everywhere. I did not t piece my original one as the thermotop wouldn’t work I just used that fuel line and carried it from one side to the other.
mom my current shuttle I’m going to t from thermotop (130,000 on the clock and this one works flawlessly) or as close to the thermotop and carry overto the other side. Fitting aair heater is fab on the t5/6. There’s so much room under there and yes my plan this time is not to use the original ducting from TPS but use the same location. Up the b pillar and into the cab/rear of van
