Hey Everyone, just joined the T6 SWB club yesterday. Been a VW nut all my life, first car was a Beetle, Golf... most recently Crafter. Just traded it in for this beauty. Planning on making her into a day camper, full width bed, pop top. Looking forward to many adventures. Great to be on here learning from you all. Thanks Dave

So I collected my T6 Factory Kombi LWB DSG from Salop Vans 7 days ago, & have already amassed a large list of items that are yet to arrive through the post. The mods begain before even leaving Salop Vans.
I'm going to be converting to a camper, as you could probably guess, but, my 1st question(s) are based around the flooring...
There are a large number rof Kombi seat brackets that will.need removing, what's best to blank off the remaining holes? Aluminium foil tape?
Then for putting the ply inside, what does everyone do about these "9mm packers" that everyone mentions, do you just cut some marine ply to size & Sikaflex them in, or is there a kit to buy? & if/what insulation needs to go down before the ply? I have some sound deadening (black rubbery stuff) & some dodo mat shredded bottle type white fleece insulation, do I need any sort of membrane/foil/bubble wrap type stuff 1st? As the forum is full of so many threads....

Hello! Just bought my first VW van. Owned a 1962 Beetle when I was young, so great to get back into the VW scene. We have 2017 Caravelle LWB that has been kitted out to Exec spec. It's lowered on B14 kit and has 20" Rotiform wheels on it. We have 4 kids so planning to use it for days out as well as our daily driver and may attempt a spot of camping too (obviously not all of us camping in it!)

Hi good morning was wondering if anybody could help us with a price for putting our camper van up for sale please ? We are looking to upgrade to a newer and better spec thank you .
Its a 2016 on a 16 plate t6 2.0 tdi startline it has had 3 former keepers me been the 3rd and was converted by Daystar camper conversions Ltd
-5 belted seats
-3/4 rock and roll bed
-Front twin seat swivels and slides with storage under the seat I also fitted a seat fold mechanism so I could use a cab bunk
-2 ring burner and sink with on board water
-12v - 240v fridge with ice box
-Reimo pop top without mattress but I have a camping mattress that fits up there
-Planar 2kw night heater with digital timer
-solar powered liesure battery which powers the fridge, LED lighting, heater and water pump with a 240v hook up which charges the battery too.
-vamoose awning rail and 2 awning one airbeam and the other just a simple sun canopy
-fully coded in detactable towbar with single electrics
The camper itself has been well maintained and having done just over 70,000 had its Cam belt and water pump changed its now on 76000 and has recently been serviced and mot 4th may 2022. I will attempt to add photos as soon as I can . Thank you

Hi all, new to the transporter world. Currently have a 2011 Golf but will be chopping it for a T6 150 panel van over the next few weeks just waiting on VW to do all their prep stuff. Then its onto the conversion. Looking at making it at least mountain bike friendly with a bed so any tips and ideas please send my way!

Not looking to convert etc, been struggling for some time getting everything into my Caddy & usually had to cut up wood in Wickes car park just to make timber fit. Been searching for months for an ex RAC or AA van with no joy, this appeared at the local VW Dealer 3 weeks ago & ticked every box bar a tailgate.
